Once they’ve been extracted from the Earth, crystals pick up energy from all the places and hands they pass through on their way to you. It is beneficial to cleanse new crystals and repeat as needed. Your crystals have been cleansed with sound and loving intention.

Cleansing is about intention. Your stones will respond to your intention to release stored energy regardless of the method you choose. Some find intention alone is sufficient.

The following methods are safe for cleansing jewelry and specimens alike. Work with your stones until you find what feels right for you. Remember, your jewelry is made of more than stone, so please keep it dry.

Place your stones under the light of a Full Moon, smudge them with White Sage, Palo Santo, or your favorite Incense, place them on a Selenite, Citrine, Amethyst, or Clear Quartz crystal or use Tibetan Singing Bowls or any sound that resonates with you.

Once your crystals are cleansed, you may be wondering what to do with them to get the best benefits from them. It is all personal, so choose what resonates with you. Decide how you want the crystals to help you, such as stress relief, positivity, etc. It is time to program your crystals. Set your intention and hold your crystals. Say out loud or in your head, “I ask for your help in....” or “I program these crystals to...” or whatever feels right to you.

Depending on how you want the crystals to help you, there are various ways to use them. If the crystals are jewelry, wear them. You can carry crystals in your pocket or put them in your purse or bag and carry them with you. You can put them under your pillow (especially beneficial if the crystals are for better sleep) or on your nightstand. If for EMF protection, between you and electronics.
